  W/H-N girls fall in double OT  

The Wheaton/Herman-Norcross girls basketball team played one of its best games of the season, but still ended up on the losing end of a 66-62 double overtime decision to Lac qui Parle Valley last Tuesday night at home.

The Warriors fell to West Central Area, Friday night at home, 75-56, but ended the week with a 65-48 victory at Hillcrest, Saturday. Statistics from the Hillcrest game were not available by press time and will be highlighted next week.

The Warriors are 8-12 overall and 3-4 in the Pheasant Conference heading into the final two weeks of the regular season. WCA leads the conference with a 6-1 record and is 14-6 overall, while CGB is second (4-2, 15-5), W/H-N third, and Hancock and Ortonville are tied for fourth (both 1-4 and 7-9).

This week, the Warriors were set to play at New York Mills, Monday, and host Pelican Rapids, Friday.
