  Girls play solid on a soggy Ortonville course

The West Central Area Knights girls golf team had a calm, but soggy day at Wednesday’s Ortonville Invitational. As Katie Merrick said, “If there was one word to sum up the day for her, it would be soggy.” The play on words described everyone’s feet after a good inch of rain had covered the golf course the night before and Katie’s game, as described by her. With the wet conditions, it was hard to get the ball to roll, especially on those shots that weren’t airborne.
