Knights cross country teams race well at Park Rapids
  by Kris Beuckens

The Knight’s Cross Country teams traveled to Park Rapids last Monday to run in their last event of the year on a beautiful fall evening. This was the Knights’ final tune-up for the upcoming and all-important section meet at which will be determined the teams and individuals who will advance to the state meet.

“We have really been pretty fortunate this year with the weather we’ve had for these meets,” said WCA Coach John VanKempen. “The temperatures have been about just right for running at most of our meets this season.”

The WCA boys ran another great race last Monday to place second, behind only Perham. The Knights were again paced by senior Devin Nelson who placed second overall and passed a runner down the home stretch to do so in a personal best time of 16:48.
