  Knights 1-1 in opening week of baseball action

The Knights got their baseball season underway last week with a pair of home games against Osakis and Ashby. The Knights hosted Osakis on Thursday night and lost, 2-11, but rebounded for a win, 5-2, on Friday when they hosted Ashby.

The Knights (0-1, 1-1) are currently in fourth place in the Prairie Conference standings. Osakis (1-0, 2-0) is in the early lead in the conference, followed by Upsala/Swanville Area (1-0, 1-0), LP-GE (0-0, 1-0), WCA, Browerville (0-0, 0-0), St. John’s Prep (0-0, 0-0), Eagle Valley, (0-0, 0-1), and Royalton (0-1, 0-1).

This week, the Knights will travel to Clarissa on Monday to take on Eagle Valley and will then host Hancock on Tuesday.
