  Lady Knights win four straight to start season

The Knights’ girls basketball team got two more wins this week to improve their season record to 4-0. They defeated LP-GE, 50-49, in overtime on Thursday night at Barrett, and Ortonville, 70-47, on Saturday afternoon.

The Knights (2-0, 4-0) are currently in the lead in the Prairie Conference along with Osakis (1-0, 3-0) and Browerville (1-0, 3-0). Royalton (1-1, 1-2) is in fourth place, followed by St. John’s Prep (0-1, 1-2), LP-GE (0-1, 1-3), Upsala (0-1, 1-3), and Swanville (0-1, 0-3).

This week, the Knights will travel to St. John’s Prep on Tuesday night and to Osakis on Friday night for a couple of important Prairie Conference showdowns.
