Chargers give Warriors a scare, but WHN continues unbeaten

Wheaton-Herman-Norcross’ undefeated season ran into a roadblock last Tuesday night during a home game with Brandon-Evansville. WHN fell behind 18-15 by halftime, but rallied in the second half to earn a 48-36 victory.

One night earlier, the Warriors won easily at Hillcrest Lutheran Academy, 79-41, giving WHN a 24-0 overall record heading into its final regular-season game this week.

WHN was set to play at Clinton-GB in the regular-season finale, Monday, before opening up the Section 6A tourney the following week. WHN is locked into the top seed in its half of Section 6A, while Ada-Borup (20-1 record) will be the top seed in the other half of the section.
