  Girls third, boys fourth in Prairie Conference meet

The WCA girls track and field team took third place in the Prairie Conference Championships held May 18 at St. John’s University. The girls racked up 94.0 points. Osakis took first place with 220, Long Prairie-Grey Eagle was second with 108, Royalton finished fourth at 58, St. John’s Prep was fifth at 27, and Upsala/Swanville finished sixth with 12 points.

The WCA boys team finished in fourth place with 82 points, followed by Long Prairie-Grey Eagle with 51 and St. John’s Prep with 30.

Osakis won the boys meet with 162 points. Royalton took second with 99 points and Upsala/Swanville took third with 90.
