The Ashby Arrows fastpitch team beat Chokio-Alberta-Herman-Norcross 10-0 on Thursday, May 15 in Ashby. The win cinched up the Pheasant Conference title for the Arrows for the second year in a row.

Senior Captain Danielle Holcomb picked up her 11th win of the season as she led the Arrows to a conference championship. Holcomb held a potent CAHN hitting line up to just three hits on the day.

Offensviely the Arrows were led by Amanda Johnson who went two for four with a home run, a double and four RBI.

With one hit each were Kelly Falk, Hayley Barry, Andrea Moe and Gina Mickelson.

“First I have to acknowledge our Senior Captain Danielle Holcomb and her pitchng performances all season. She is a hard worker, excellent leader and her determination has led to our success this season. Second I am equally as proud of every player on the team. At some point during the season they each stepped up and made the difference in a game. They always played as a team and never gave up,” stated coach Joey Andreasen.
