Arrows pick up two more softball wins

The Arrows offense proved to be to much for the Eagle Valley Rebels as they fell to the Arrows by a score of 10-2 in Ashby on Monday, May 12. Amanda Johnson was impressive at the plate as she led the Arrows offense going four for four with two home runs, a double, a single and three RBI.

Also with a big day at the plate for the Arrows was Andrea Moe who went three for three with a triple and two RBI.

Hayley Barry and Tonia Fitzsimmons collected two hits for the Arrows and Gina Mickelson picked up one.

Danielle Holcomb had another fine performance fanning 11 Rebel batters.

“The girls played a great game today on both sides of the ball,” stated coach Joey Andreasen.

Ashby vs Wheaton
The Lady Arrows picked up their 10th win of the season over the Wheaton Warriors by a score of 10-4 in Wheaton on Tuesday, May 13.

Leading the Arrows offense once again was Amanda Johnson who went four for five with two RBI. Also hot at the plate was Kelly Falk who went three for four with four RBI.

Gina Mickelson picked up two hits for the Arrows while Hayley Barry and Josie Kent each picked up one. Danielle Holcomb scattered nine hits and struck out three Warrior batters to pick up the pitching win.
