Incorruptible Hadleyburg
The 20 West Central Area students that make up the cast of the WCA One Act Play The Man That Corrupted Hadleyburg were awarded first place by all three judges at the Sub-Section One Act Play Contest in Barrett this past Saturday. Liz Hjelle, Dan Rauchbauer and Sharon Hultz received acting awards. Morris Area took second place with their play The Ice Fishing Play. Both plays will be performed, along with six others, at the Section 5A One Act Play Contest this Saturday at WCA in Barrett. Morris Area starts the day at 8:30 a.m. and WCA follows at 9:15 a.m. The Man That Corrupted Hadleyburg will also be performed this Friday, February 3, at 6:30 p.m. at the WCA Secondary School. This public performance and the Section 5A contest is free and open to the public.
