Winners by unanimous decision
The cast and crew of West Central Area’s Sub-Section 17A one act entry, “A Piece of My Heart,” celebrate after winning first place by unanimous decision following the contest in Barrett on Saturday. Shelby Dreier also received an Outstanding Actor award. Morris Area took home second place with “The Boys Next Door.” WCA will give a free public performance of “A Piece of My Heart” this Friday at 5:30 at the Secondary School Auditorium in Barrett. WCA and Morris will represent Sub-Section 17A at the Section 5 contest Saturday at Dassel-Cokato High School.
